DeskMakers Expands West Coast Presence with Linked Rep Firm and Key Promotion.
December 2, 2021, Commerce, CA – DeskMakers has expanded its sales force with the addition of Northern California firm Linked, an independent manufacturers rep group based in the Bay Area. Founded in 2010, Linked is recognized as a leader in the contract furniture industry focused on providing a high level of support and service to clients. With over 25 years of experience, the firm is led by Rob Jones who along with six team members joins DeskMakers and Scale 1:1 as sales representatives covering the Northern California and Nevada territories.
Linked’s curated portfolio of products helps their team create innovative interiors within the corporate, technology, education, hospitality, healthcare, and government sectors. DeskMakers and Scale 1:1 product rounds out their offering which can be experienced at two showroom locations in the San Jose and San Francisco areas. The firm’s strong ties to the A&D community as well as relationships with dealers, specialty contractors and end users made them the natural choice when selecting a rep group for the territory.

Stepping in to guide the firm as newly appointed Regional Sales Director, West for DeskMakers is Ken Petersil. Petersil will oversee the Western territories of the DeskMakers and Scale 1:1 brands when John Whichard retires in March of 2022 and will work closely with Mitch Godwin, DeskMakers Regional Sales Director, East on overall brand growth across the United States. With several new products launching in the first half of 2022, Petersil’s appointment comes at a pivotal time.
Petersil has over 25 years of sales experience in the contract furniture industry, most recently as Territory Manager for DeskMakers where he consistently exceeded annual sales quotas. His previous roles include Chief Operating Officer for Creative Wood as well as management and engineering roles within the industry. Petersil is a graduate of San Francisco State University.
