DeskMakers Celebrates New Brand, Scale 1:1 with Launch Party

Los Angeles-based manufacturer hosts event and designer meet & greet in Downtown LA

February 18, 2020, Los Angeles, CA – DeskMakers celebrated the official launch of its newest brand, Scale 1:1, with a party in the Downtown Los Angeles showroom of longtime reps, Rodenbeck Associates, on Wednesday, February 12th.

Located in the heart of Los Angeles, the event showcased the line’s introductions and included a meet and greet with Scale 1:1 founder and designer, David Winston who was on-hand discussing his inspiration behind the Scale 1:1 product offering. “People can now work from anywhere, so the ‘actual’ workspace must be a stimulating collaboration hub, which requires specialized furniture that makes us feel creative and mobile”, said David Winston, Vice President and Design Director of DeskMakers and Scale 1:1. “The products offered from Scale 1:1 do just that. They allow the end-user to quickly convert spaces from formal to more casual, and keep creativity flowing.”

Attendees had the opportunity to spend time experiencing the line first-hand, including the eye-catching Nomad Sport, a regulation size ping-pong table, mobile marker board and conference table all in one.

Guests were also treated to a sneak-peek of Ribbon, an upcoming collection of casegoods and tables designed by Henner Jahns. The collection boasts a signature base that slightly twists and tapers to create the striking visual that is Ribbon’s namesake. Ribbon will be launched under the DeskMakers brand later this year.
